Canadian Conservation Corps, Stage 1
2021
In 2021, I joined the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s Canadian Conservation Corps (CCC) summer cohort. The program includes three stages: developing leadership skills, deepening knowledge of conservation, and giving back to the community by raising awareness about environmental issues.
For the first stage, our group completed a two-week expedition in Lake Temagami, Ontario, through Outward Bound Canada. I chose to document the experience using a film camera, capturing two photos each day. These images reflect our shared values, teamwork, leadership, and personal growth throughout the journey.
