Canadian Conservation Corps, Stage 1
In 2021, I joined the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s (CWF) Canadian Conservation Corps (CCC) summer group in July.
The program consisted of three stages: leadership skills, more in-depth learning about conservation, and how to give back to the community by raising awareness about conservation/environmental issues. For the first stage of the program, we embarked on a summer expedition in Lake Temagami, Ontario for two weeks through Outward Bound Canada. I decided to document our travel and take 2 photos everyday with a film camera. These photos represents our values, teamwork, leadership skills, and personal growth throughout this journey.
