Book of Life

2024

The Book of Life Celebration is a signature legacy event of the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto that honours individuals who have made enduring commitments to the future of the Jewish community through planned giving. The 20th anniversary celebration brought together philanthropy, storytelling, and community dialogue in an evening that recognised leadership, preserved personal legacies, and inspired future generations. That same year, Julie Platt was the guest speaker for this event.

The original creative concept and visual identity were developed by an external designer affiliated with the event's main sponsor. I led production and execution of the final event and print materials—bringing that concept to life.

The Goal
To celebrate and recognise individuals who have made a lasting commitment to the future of the Jewish community through legacy giving, and to inspire continued philanthropic leadership and intergenerational engagement.

The Impact
The event helped raise awareness of the importance of legacy giving by celebrating the 13 new inductees and sharing their commitment to the future of the Jewish community.

Art Exhibit Display Experience
I reimagined the displays as a staged art exhibit since previously presented as standard pull-up banners. In collaboration with the external vendor, we developed the idea of transforming the displays into book-inspired installations that reflected the identity.
